Valle, Valle, Valle- You thought Napa Valley was nice? It definitely is, but you haven’t been to Valle de Guadalupe!

Just passed the San Diego border, right before entering Ensenada, you can find the beautiful wine country. We went to the Hotel Encuentro Guadalupe and it was the most amazing weekend ever. It is a perfect getaway for those who live in AZ, CA and LV especially for those who really need to getaway!!
Once you arrive, they took us up to the lobby and greeted us right away with our choice of red or white wine and I felt immediately at home. Things changed a bit when I got to the room as I didn’t see a TV though!! OMG did I freak hahaha so we took our walkie talkie and asked if there was a hidden TV that I was missing or if they could roll one up to my room.. haha nope- instead they go “sorry this hotel is for pure relaxation so we have no TVs.. well, there you go! So, they don’t have a TV in the room as it is meant for only relaxation, and your room is up a mountain and you take a shuttle to and from the lobby with just a walkie talkie and a flashlight. I have to admit though, I haven’t been that relaxed in a long time- SO WORTH IT.
What they do have though is the most incredible breakfast that is compliments of the hotel, that sits right at their infinity pool and overlooks the winery and mountains- simply breathtaking. They also give you a free wine tasting at the facility and if you want to book a massage, there are treatments that you can book right inside your room. Wow! Luckily too, if you aren’t in the mood to branch out of the hotel or you really just want to stay in and relax- there is an amazing fine dining restaurant that is an absolute must. Valentina and I went to the restaurant, we had 4 glasses of wine, 3 appetizers, 2 main courses and a dessert- our total bill was $80- you definitely don’t find that in Vegas!! Soooo amazing!!
I will let the pictures speak for themselves- comment below if you have any questions on the beautiful Valle de Guadalupe.
