This day, was hands down, by far, the BEST day of this vacation. Two of the most beautiful, diverse islands, there is no way I can decide if I liked Praslin or La Digue better. I felt like I was in Jurassic Park 4!! Make sure you scroll all the way down, you will NOT BE SORRY!!!

We hopped on the speed boat again and went an hour away from Mahé to Praslin. Praslin was our first beach that was AMAZING and is also where they have these huge “Coco de Mer” trees that have to be the most amazing thing I have ever seen (a part from their beach of course). These trees are the same as humans- there is a male and a female. The male produces a long penis looking thing with pollen and at nighttime, it mates with the female tree inserting the pollen into the branches of the female creating these huge Butt looking coconuts. They’re a complete delicacy here in Seychelles and if you even try to steal one, it is 15 years prison time!! Even if you eat turtle!! The Coco de Mer’s take 45 years to mature and what a sight they are to see man… wow.. enjoy hahahah
Now to the gooooods- we left the sexual trees haha and finally made it to the beautiful beach of “Le Chavalier Bay” and omg I was in HEAVEN. The colors, the sand, the rocks, the water… everything was breathtaking. There was even a little green lake behind the ocean and small crabs everywhere. It was amazing I wanted to live there forever. Take a look for yourself♥
You ready for La Digue?????
It’s back on the speedboat! 15 minutes and we were in La Digue and it was incredibly beautiful. Beach cruisers, restaurants, shops, beaches and local people singing and dancing everywhere. We went straight to this little restaurant right on the water, named Fish Trap (haha always eating) and had the best Creole lunch again- Chicken Curry, Jack Fish, spicy noodles and so much more. Look how adorable this little place is.. and it happened to belong to our tour guides sister too!
After we feasted, we hopped on our beach cruisers and went to the most prestigious beach that the Seychelles has to offer; Source D’Argent. It’s now even a national park for how incredible it is. On the way, we saw more huge turtles, palm trees and these incredible rock formations that are made of pure granite. Holy cow it was seriously incredible- photos don’t even show how beautiful this place is. We got to feed the bat fish, eat fresh fruits on the beach and swim in the most incredible warm waters. I was in absolute paradise that I honestly have no words to describe it. I would go back tomorrow morning if I could- I know I said that I was taking Valentina to the Maldives but sorrrryyyy Maldives- you’ve been beat by the Seychelles♥
If you ever find yourself on a cruise ship and you go to Mahé, outside the pier, there are a bunch of tour guides there to help you and let me tell you, the service and tour is WAAAAY better than what you get on the boat.
Thank you Seychelles, Praslin and La Digue for an unforgettable day.
